So i shall blog something more recent, Tennis POL-ITE. yes.. haha.. the girls won 3rd! okie though that's not very good compared to last year we won first, but all the players graduated, that's why. but we're still good man. haha..
But as some of you know, okie maybe not some, the least of you, knew that i sprained my ankle. yes you read correctly. SPRAINED! just 2 weeks before tournament. WOW right? i was really really upset, polite was super important to me, i trained the whole year just for it. i felt ready to play this year, and i had to sprain during tennis training. was intercepting the volley, jump! and yes landed wrongly. haizz.... when i came down i was like: please do not be a sprain, please please please... but it was a sprained in the end. then my tennis friends had to like piggy back me.. ohh it was so embarrassing! like i had 3 people taking turns to piggy back me, one out of court, another up the stairs and another down the stairs. ohhhh... imagine how embarrassing it was. my sprain was really bad, i could not even walk. so yes people had to carry me. oh my... went to a sinseh the next day then was told i had a double sprained!!! i do not know how it happened but it just did. so had to stay at home for like what? 3 days! its already a torture for me. i hate staying at home. and worst still i could not move. you know i hate staying still.
For the next few days i was in crutches, yes it is that bad. but at least with crutches i can move about. really thankful for Anthon, he was the one who helped me get crutches. Anthon is like the best!! he's always so resourceful. so with my crutches i had to wobble everywhere i go.
but when i was going through this painful experience, i did not blame God at all, i mean he knew i wanted to play in polite so much and he plan for me to sprain my ankle, i knew it was God who planned this, but i did not blame him at all, cause i was reminded that God always have the best for me, i knew that whatever the end was, it would have been much better than playing in the tournament. so i was in fact thankful that he, yet again, gave me another chance to learn and be disciplined! Really thank God. i told God that i will trust in him and will follow whatever he plans. so i trusted God till the end, and finally, he let me play in 2 matches! it was really a great feeling. that i trusted in God and even get to play in 2 matches. Even during the recovering week, my coach kept asking about my condition, and he sort of shocked me by telling me that God don't do great things, he does the impossible things. i was just taken aback, i did not expect that at all, but i was so wow-ed! So i was really thankful that i got to play. God is good, all the time.
So here's a picture of my tennis team. see the ankle wrap around my leg? yes i have to play with that. wheeee... we got third. oh just in case you want to know the results for girls, TP got first, NP got second, and SP third.
During that process, i also had my first official worship leading. Well, it was good, i shared about my experiences and even encouraged one of my church aunty, after service, she thanked me for sharing and shared her experiences with me too. What an encouragement! All credits to God. He was the one who calmed me down, i was really scared and God made it all well. Karen says she's going to roster me down soon. wow.. she even told me that she thinks i may have the gift for worship leading. whoo... scary. like its just all coming at me. i just have to be prepared, i think the next session will be in October. but in the mean time, i'm leading my bible study class with KT in the book of James. so i'm like busy again. it's just non-stop, but i like what i'm doing, cause i get to learn about God, like so much more. whooo.... happy happy.. we will also invited other speakers from outside to teach us on different topics, i'm quite excited actually, a different format of bible study, we will definitely learn so much more.
Recently, i also went for a bible conference held by RBC. the topic was on Philippians. It reminded me of last year when i went with Isaac, he was the one who brought me there, taught and guided me through the word of God. Really thankful for a Christian brother like him. so yes i wanted to go there alone this year, cause i just wanted to concentrate and learn, without any distractions. but i thought maybe i should ask Karen. she was supposed to come with me, but last minute can't, cause she was very tired with work. Well, it was alright, cause my initial intention was to go alone. The bible conference was good, learn quite a bit, made me reflect on my life the past 18 years. I also met Isaac there, saw him playing the bass when i reached, got a little shocked, like Oh! he's playing the bass. ya, told myself not to think so much and asked God to keep thoughts out of my mind and just to concentrate on Him. so yes, first night of the conference was good. when i was leaving, i was in my crutches, slowly climbing the stairs. then when i finally reached the top, i stopped to take a little breather, then i walked a little and i saw Isaac. I sort of stunned there, don't know why but ya, i just stopped in my tracks. then smiled and walk towards him and his dad, who was talking to his friends. so we chatted for a while, he asking me what happen and all, i felt so shitty that he had to see me like this, didn't want him to feel sad or whatever, i dunno, just hope he doesn't feel that way, and i think im sure he does not. i hope. oh wells, i told myself not to think so much again. so yes that was the night. was happy to see Isaac and his dad though, like it's been a while since i saw them. had a brief chat but it was really a nice feeling to talk to them again.
Second night, i was there early, went from school, had dinner alone at subway, then took my time to walk there, still in my crutches. the door's weren't opened, so sat outside first. after about 10mins, i saw Isaac. He didn't see me, so i called him. so we sat down and talked like for half an hour! until the doors opened. this half an hour talk was so much better than the time we went out with ali. it was so so so much better, it didn't feel that weird anymore. i tell you it was such a good feeling. felt so happy after that. really thankful, it was all well. so the doors opened and he made sure i had the top row seats, so that i did not have to climb down the stairs, he's just really sweet and caring like his usual self. i did not want to think so much about it. Isaac is just like this, he's just really caring. yes and i leave it as that. so i took my seat and he went down to the bottom most row. then after 5 mins, he came up and sat next to me. he just gave me the reason that his conscience pricked him. i did not really understand that, but i was like okie. so i left it as that too... didnt want to probe and think so much about it. then before the conference started, i also saw Isaac's dad, Ian, his older brother, roy, randy, all the YFC people. i was so happy when i saw them, they are the nicest people, and it's also been a while that i talked to them. really happy to see them again. the night was fun, it made my day. cause i had a tiring day, but God made it all. Yay!!
just a week ago, i saw Daniel from Isaac's church at my school, i was, again, really happy to see familiar nice people. i got a shocked! yes he was too, like what are you doing here. hahha... he was there to meet a friend and i told him i studied in SP. it was just a brief hello but really heart warming to see him. it reminded me of the past when i spend a while with the YFC and Isaac's church people. the nicest people. I thank God that i got to know them. No worries the past isn't affecting me in a bad way, i got over it already, i just cherish the good times i had in the past and i thank God for everything, cause i know he has a plan. I thank him for yesterday, today and the future that is to come.
God has done so many great things in my life, everything he does he has a purpose. i thank God for how he has taught me, disciplined me and guided me in my life. I trust him that my end will be good, now is just the training he has for me, and at the end i will be complete in Him.
All Credits to God! :)
